One problem with tybw is too many characters and lack of build up for many of them. Most of them were one-note monsters of the week. Iconic antagonists like Ulquiorra and Grimmjow definitely helped and contributed to arrancar saga's popularity, and the closest to them, bazz and jugram, barely had half the amount of build up and in turn, half the amount of popularity. I mean what is Jugram known for, for like 70% of the arc? A mere fuckin spectator who just watched and commented from the sidelines selling pretty face. There's 0 reason for the audience to be invested into him until they put his flashback with bazz-b and by then it's too late
