The white suburban PTA moms switched their political allegiances around 2006-2008.

They WERE the Christian right wing church ladies who violently protested anything interesting and hid behind For the Children!
Then they switched over to pro-LGBT everything, anti right feminists while still making the exact same protests of the exact same media in the exact same way. Their antics did not change at all, it's just what they hate and want removed from tv changed.

...except any depiction of something sexual or just a hot woman appearing on screen, that remained exactly the same. The Church ladies wanted that removed in the 80s, the purple haired lesbians want that removed now.
