Is there a way to import maps from one save into another?

I'm jumping back into the game after 8 months, and I have a Vernis I spent a good 80 hours of designing. Even if I rip out all of the workstations and items to make it feel less "cheaty", I cant imagine putting that time in again, just on landscape editing, when i'm so fond of a result I already have.

Considering how mod friendly the game is, and what with the moongate system, I figured there might be hope.
