Yes, but that also requires something similar to the following:

1. Pushing GPU rendered frames to CPU memory to be processed for USB delivery to the dongle.
2. The dongle doing its own processing to get it sent over wirelessly.
3. The headset receiving those frames, processing them, and decoding it before or after the next step.
4. Putting the frames into GPU memory on the headset itself and then rendering it to the screens.

Everything there is an extra step of latency that doesn't exist if I can plug the headset directly into my GPU.

And before people go "UM AKSHUALY THE PROCESS MIGHT BE MORE LIKE-" just shut the fuck up. We don't know what the process is, and that's not the point.
