I hope the next Clair Obscur game has nothing to do with Expedition 33. No shared universe or anything.
If they did do an actual sequel or have a shared universe, I'd rather it be something like Super Mario 64 conceptually, with Hub/Town being the real world. Main character could be a museum curator or something who dives into various worlds within paintings, poems, and music, expanding the lore on the arts that hold the power of creation and go into why they are fighting eachother. It would work better than setting an entire game in one world you know isn't real again.
