I just had a mini lucid nightmare trying to sleep
pro tip: to detect when you are in the dream world or reality try to in the dream dig your nails in your palms squeeze a bit if it doesnt feel physical you are in the dream world and you can attempt to wake up, to wake up from a nightmare you must literally wake up your muscles within the dream so try to mentalize yourself as if throwing punches bravely, you will feel like your body is sluggish and weak but it will start to happen the more you put your mind into it as your muscles start to wake up in the dream you will be able to do it irl and break the nightmare. It unironically works.
