How do I beat Mission 8? I can only get a couple kills before the time limit. My missiles always miss unless a plane is coming head on at me and trying to maneuver behind an enemy is impossible. Dogfighting feels like trying to hit a fly with a sledgehammer no matter what combination of breaking, turning, yawing, and rolling I try.

Playing on Hard with "Expert" controls

I'm on mission 8 and any time I get in lock on range to an enemy they're basically flying parallel to me so they just instantly zip away. I do not understand how to dogfight at all, even when I use the minimap to see which way they're going they just turn on a dime. I can only get 3-4 kills before the time limit.
