Do you live near a MicroCenter?

If so your best bet is probably one of their CPU/Mobo/RAM bundles. If not probably the most CPU you can get for your money right now is the 14600K since Intel is heavily discounting CPUs to preserve market share from stiff competition from AMD. Performance benchmarks:

It'll also let you use a cheap LGA 1700 board w/cheaper DDR4 RAM than newer DDR5 RAM without much if any performance penalty.

I included a cheap tower cooler and most performance CPUs these days from AMD/Intel no longer ship with a stock (those cheap bastards).

>Why is the 14600K cheaper than the 13600K?
They are functionally the same chip but since the 14600K is "newer" there is probably just more stock of it available so it's cheaper.
