no, i've built a lot of the modern kits, this is something else. the sentinel is a whole different animal. modern GW kits can sometimes be a b bit of a jigsaw, but they mostly go together painlessly, you just cant pose them very easily.
the sentinel was completely different. shit that should have been 2 pieces was arbitrarily 15, almost nothing had guide pegs or notches, you were often asked to glue very large parts to other very large parts hanging on by nothing but a sliver millimeter of flat on flat plastic.and if any of those flat on flat attachments in the legs or arms are even slightly off, the outer relief carving segments then wont fit snug and the entire leg wont go together, but again because its all flat on flat with no guide pegs you also cant really dry fit it either.
this doesnt feel at all like any other GW or FW kit i've done in the last 20 years, it was fucking wild. i've built nagash, big archaon, lords of change and great unclean ones, the new kroak for age of sigmar, this thing was on a whole other level, nevermind that the instructions, instead of being printed in that high quality color coded modern style, were printed in black and white on news print and the instructions even left out a few steps when it came to building parts like the hands.
