I think the mistake was to try and tech-it-up with science weapons. a fantasy-based castle theme would have a better chance at sticking around. kids know gun beats sword, so why even have them both?

if they leaned into the fairy tale thing. Like how the Friends Elves sets were. but a minifig version of that.
