Before COVID became a huge deal in the west, /pol/ was doomposting vids from China of random Chinese people passing out. This was back when nobody even called it COVID everyone was referring to it as the "Wuhan Virus".

Sure most of /pol/ realizes COVID was nothing special NOW but back then this place was acting like it was the end of the world well before the rest of West went crazy over it.
