I was literally thinking this earlier today.

WFH which is nice. But my responsibilities have changed a lot over the years that I can't fuck around and play games during work hours like I use to.

Then see gaming buddies who either have part-time or no jobs doing stuff throughout the day. Or having fun late a night and the FOMO kicks in. Feels like there's so much I miss out on because I can't stay up till 4am or drop everything I'm doing to play a few rounds of something in the middle of the afternoon. Or I miss out on the hype of a new game because I can't play for 12+ hours a day, they beat it, and more onto the next.

But at the same time, I know that if I didn't work, I'd feel kinda lost, useless, and be so overwhelmed with stress on how I'd pay to feed and house myself that I'd never be able to enjoy a games.
