Shortly after Episode 2 came out, I began on-and-off writing a very long prequel to some misery porn fanfiction I wrote during the Episode 1 era (https://arch.b4k.dev/vg/thread/447175742/#447787074). It was to be called "Fixed", and was about an alternate future where Ashley got put on medication back in school and has decayed into a total zombie over the years. She's lost all her snazz and doesn't really feel like she's there, and on top of it has to babysit Andrew and Julia's offspring. Andrew meanwhile, the pretentious hack that he is, became a best-selling author and subsidises Ashley's entire lifestyle, including therapy and medication.The final chapter was going to involve Ashley resolving to strangle the infant Audrey Graves, then sparing the baby, killing herself instead (as per the linked suicide note fanfiction). I drew concept art of my idea of this humiliated Ashley: more conservative clothing, tidier hair, a performative Christian necklace and a forced smile.
I gave up on it because it was boring as fuck and just meaningless despairslop lol. Though I am proud of some of my descriptions (eg introducing Audrey as "the price of Ashley's free time and luxury", or in general describing Ashley dissociating)
