this. My 'personal projects' take up almost a page at the very bottom of my resume and i think thats what landed me my most recent job (although i also had degrees and experience). They were very intrigued by what i listed and i just talked non-stop for like, 45 minutes about stuff i worked on and stuff that wasn't even in my resume.
Each person asked me "out of 10 how do you rate your skills" and I told them around 5.5/10 and referrenced the dunning kruger effect.
