reading Baron Evola made me realize how much european myth Tolkien put into LotR

im sure im missing a ton more but thats just what popped into my head. did Tolkien ever write anything explaining myth similar to Evolas holy grail one or anything? he really could have produced some kino but i wonder if he held off since he got popular after wwii and he was too afraid he would be called a racist fascist or something because de definitely didnt seem up to the task of deflecting that sort of criticism based on his "dwarves are jews" complaints
