yeah after googling a bit his redesign really is way worse and just doesnt look like DK. this edit here is really good. again, it doesn't matter to me as i havent owned a nintendo console nor played a nintendo game since 2012 so i have no dog in this race, but his redesign really is weird and unfitting.
