Why would anyone care about video game sales?

Meanwhile the people who do actually care about video games sales (i.e. the VIIRgin(s)) had their game flop worse than XVI. Square Enix still hasn't told anyone how much it sold because they're too ashamed. The kicker here is that Part 3 is going to sell EVEN WORSE than Rebirth, unless they do a day 1 release of a complete edition bundle, which includes all 3 games for $60 or $70. That way they can also count the bundle as a 3 separate game sales rather than just the sale of Part 3, allowing them to triple dip on their numbers and massively inflate how many people bought it, and then come out with some ridiculous figure like:
>"Part 3 sells 21 million (7*3) copies in 7 days!!!!"
and then all the VIIRgins can rejoice because the only thing they care about is sales, not video games.
