No, that's the premise for basically all philosophy. It really doesn't matter which Greek I cite because pretty much all of them rely upon this notion that truth exist (quantity varies between theory) and humans are rational (level varies between theory), which therefore means humans can approach any given notion of truth with enough effort and attempt at understanding. If you deny this premise, we careen into the idea that there is no truth and humans are dumb animals. I probably don't need to tell you how much communist writing reflects this idea, and how commonly it's been used as "justification" to try and herd the goyim - I mean citizenry into some of the worst living conditions humanity has ever seen.
