I meet Strokrad when the civil war is on the cusp of breaking out. Dunno what he has to do with that, but maybe he'll be helpful.
I picked Keter because redeeming a failed hero makes for a good story. The premise of the Immortal Coils of Intrigue encounter is that Keter wants me to do something about the lichyard. Her caring about something hopefully means that she's at least a little less depressed and alcoholic.
Of course a hero would never let the vile lichyard continue their evil ways, so I will purge them in the name of justice. Not before taking all their notes and techniques, though. Can't forget that I gave myself Zemlya.

Once I resolve all of my encounters, it's time to start collecting my chess pieces and fixing the biggest political problems in Doria. Peace treaties between nations, the removal of a few bad actors, and a purge of Charlie sympathizers. A (mostly) united coalition is required for the liberation of Tsoshu.
The Tsoshu liberation will cement my fame and prepare me and my party for the final battle with 0^0. We'll fight our way to the capital of the Ecumene with a small, elite force, wreaking havoc on their military facilities and forcing 0^0 to descend from her pillar for the final fight. With all my allies, equipment, knowledge, and gifts (Death of the Author), it should be possible to fight her on even ground.

Now, a hero can't become a legend without a fitting end. I will die in the final battle. Either for real, or by faking my death.
But death is not the end of my story. Keter knowledge will help me dodge my death letters, and even if I cannot manage that I always have Zemlya. Perhaps I will return when the world needs me the most. Or not.
I considered giving myself Greater Yus, but this cements my role as a hero. With Buki/Zemlya, I guarantee a fight with 0^0 and I keep my options open. I could return as a mentor, or even a twist villain. Playing different roles gives you more soul xp, after all.
