Let us ask ourselves this question: do we believe that any single Greater Warmachina besides maybe Vtorusha's own Second Seat can directly do anything Meaningful against the Usurper by itself? The answer is no, lolno even.
And without being a legendary caster material I don't think he'll be able to seriously improve upon this foundation. At least not by himself.
Then there is an issue with Keter. While I agree that Yat is one of the most cheatable ones in general, for Katya's specific circumstances this may end up rather bad.
On his own Death Letter: due to his lifestyle, he'll always be very close to fulfilling it in the most literal way possible, and will either die for real or be forced to rely on Keter's teachings to properly dodge it and lose the protection.

Now, in any other case I would only laugh at attempts to rely on pure narrativitum in the current world of Chance and Causality, but with his relatively competent build and direct line with SRTR, it might just work. At least I think he has real chances. Especially with some help.
Of course, becoming some sort of undead avatar/sockpuppet for SRTR in the final battle is a highly questionable decision, but one that indeed does have potential to be epic.

Going for Undeath with the Patron God who is the least ok with it is a rather questionable decision. But JNPL is also dead. For now. And then there is the fact that it doesn't guarantee a good type of Undeath. Just ask Savmak.
As far as our ilk go, she has nothing special. Unless her Letter of the Damned manifests in some interesting way. But still, an Outsider-tier supporting character is nothing to scoff at.

Blood lake leaves me with vampires, who are too mysterious and undescribed. Clown school is a difficult fit personality-wise. The Dragon's Castle is for knights not wizards. 3- Once I make enough currency I can start branching out into funding my own mercenary group to help me gather more prime materials, protect my stores, etc

Exmanafication is necessary to save the omniverse. The Pragmatist faction supports both. The Purist faction supports the latter. The Reformist faction supports neither and is thus a complete and utter laughing stock.

If you want your Convention to go back to its supremacist roots. Most of the choices are either "keep it the same" or "return to tradition", and I can understand the reasoning behind them. The main issue, though, is that some individuals and planets are not governed by the Convention. Everything from Sheol, including Blood Mages and Chaos Mages, will improve if you can reintegrate them.

The "moral" choice is not entirely without merits. Compared to the other two, it appears immature, although reunionism has some validity (after you kill Dido), and the Convention can be easily reframed as a malevolent empire. Maybe altering its course would stop the downward spiral that appears to be ongoing, and the fact some of the strongest units are locked behind them is good, narratively speaking.

Ending this CYOA with "Oh by the way, it's all up to you to stop existence from destruction" was a poor choice. It strongly railroads how you have to build, and that's always been an issue to varying degrees with Tankista CYOAs. Personally, I ignore that part for the sake of making a build that has more room for flavor. Otherwise, there's no choice of goals, few of methods, and a lot of picks are objectively bad to take.
Besides that, I love this CYOA. I wish it had gotten more builds when it released.

All-Glimpse itself is styled as a caster thing, and most people have taken it as such, but really it's just the "blind swordsman" trope cranked up to 11. It should be just as good for martials as it is for mages. Ratibor is a martial, I'm pretty sure.
And obviously if you have multiocular O you can just grab some eyes of chaos or evil eye or what have you.

Arm gifts are mediocre in general unless you have a specific plan/combination in mind, and neither a caster build nor martial build will be hurt that much by swapping the arm gifts out for other things.
