I spent like a solid week trying to figure out if it was actually worth it, and the conclusion I came to is "usually not" at least in my gamemodes (Breakthrough and small infantry modes). Of course there are times like when you're infiltrating an objective or flanking that you want one, but in general I stopped running suppressors and did not see a significant increase in deaths.
