Off the top of my head, I can remember maybe a couple of relevant Arcana checks throughout the entire game. Playing a Bard (with Expertise in the CHA skill of your choice) is already being versatile. That said, the advice to dip into Cleric as a Bard is still sound - just don't feel obligated to stick to the Knowledge domain. A Lore Bard 10 / Life Cleric 2 is unironically the best support and healer in the game. Your Preserve Life is just as strong as that of a Life Cleric 12, and you still get to put 10 levels into the main character class.
