It tries to do away with a lot of exact measurements, using zones. That's not uncommon in new rpgs, wether or not you like that is up to you and your group. I don't, personally. That's actually pretty common - if you want anything exact, expect your GM to do a lot of the measuring and homebrewing. Combat wise it can get pretty soaky too - you'll probably need two or three shots to kill an average shitpile enemy mook, I think they had like 14 wounds and a lasgun was 5+sl? You really need to engage with the flow mechanic and morale mechanics to get through things.
I've seen the psykerposts here, and those mostly make sense. The psyker got one turn in two because he was constantly refilling his 'mana bar' to avoid forced Perils every turn. Dunno about the rest of it.
Corruption was weird. You'll get a few a session just from seeing things. But it's not an instant ticket to mutation. Once you hit a certain level you test, on a fail you mutate, lose all your prior corruption and push on. Otherwise you repeat the test everytime you gain corruption until you mutate, at which point it resets.
There is not much equipment. It feels a little proforma - here's your SL bonus or trait, fuck off. Upgrades come from throwing on new qualities to gear, like making it lighter or fancier. Plenty of keywords. I kind of like the equipment art, but that's a personal thing and only because it's not common - green wire frames aren't great but I'll take what I can get.
There's not much going on socially. The skills seem.. compressed, I guess? But beyond what's reasonable?
