Accomodation was also far and few between. District capitals like Kady, Sharya or Ilyinsko-Podomskoye usually feature one or two accomodation options, but the distance between them is often quite far, and if you get there too late in the evening, you're likely to get refused. The traffic on the roads in Russia's remote North is almost entirely wood transporters and truck drivers, and the guest-houses/hostels/hotels whatever are filled to the brim with them in the evening.
