The problem is liberals force-memeing "neurodivergence" into some kind of fashionable/pseudo-lifestyle term during the past decade or so. It's devolved into a catch-all term and lately they've even started including BPDemons, ADHD and the like under this umbrella.

Aspergers/HFA is its own thing completely separate from "low-functioning autism", for all intents and purposes. There was no reason to axe "Aspergers" as a diagnosis and lump it into "ASD" either, this was 100% done out of political correctness. And a lot of people are probably also getting misdiagnosed, yeah.

I'd wager like every 5 out of 10 new autism diagnoses are just tiktokbrained aoomer kids raised on tablets by their shitty xillenial parents
