I don't know if they were clear on it being all/most abstractions or if he was being specific to Kaufmo (Pomni did name him directly right at the start of that line of conversation) since the first episode made it sound like everyone had started tuning Kaufmo out in the days or weeks leading up to his abstraction. If it was the latter then Jax's visceral knee jerk reaction to the accusation may imply that despite his mask he's actually a bit pissed off everyone treated the clown in the same aloof manner he treats everyone but hypocritically he's the only one given shit for it.

Also from his response it sounds like someone nearing abstraction is not a secret, that everyone knows it's close from their behavior. Which would make Jax's resentment for being called a bad guy or a corruptor more aggravating since they all know the abstraction is close but then start doing the same arms length treatment he uses just to protect themselves while also being so preachy about "being there for each other"
