>Sounds great! I would suggest continuing coding in C as it will give you more room to adjust how you want the game to play.
Alright, I keep sticking to it! Thanks for the motivation!
>Seeing countries slowly form alliances and cold wars around defeating the aliens would be an interesting turn on the alien invasion trope. Just because a greater evil arrives doesn't mean tensions fade away. The enemy of my enemy is my friend can only go so far.
I think I had this idea but I never thought of it like that. The reoccurring idea/plot/premise starting out it would be sometime past the 2030's, there is heightened tension between East and West. Russia and China abruptly leave (in a panic) during a very high profile talks (about the tension) at the UN. They suddenly cut off their countries or at least cut off contact with the West because they spotted a Alien spacecraft which the West finds out a few days later and also panics, and thus starting the Wargames...
I kinda had like mini campaigns planned out for each country, in their own respective regions.
>Russia mainly focused on protecting their Artic Route
>China defending SEA trade route in the 2IC and parts of the Pacific (where Russia is mainly)
>Europe + USA in the Atlantic
>Japan well Japan
>USA defending North America.
