Surge's major crashouts against sonic in the Overpowered arc would have been a lot more interesting if its revealed that starline's tampering and their constant brutal training resulted in the metal virus to decay significantly quicker. Would have been cool to see surge go absolutely batshit insane as she gets more desperate.
