I think the only reason why the Shadow manga and currently the Blade of Courage manga is doing pretty well is because people are pretty fatigue with western Sonic media and it's influence for nearly two decades now, as the last Sonic game that didn't have any of this was literally Sonic 06.

My friend mentioned the fact that event happened so I spent most of my week semi-dedicating to ensure I got Neo to a relatively decent level. I definitely feel like I'm eating Crayola everytime I use him because they overtuned him to insane levels. But atlas I can now save my red coins for Sage and future Robotnik alts if they ever care to do that.
