I had a gc2b when I was binding, and it was the only thing that did anything for me. it was more effective and comfy than my gynecomastia binder. my chest is pretty massive, and still it would compact and level it. my bust was still wider and more projected than my torso, but it was like a flush block.

I did read on reddit a few years ago that the quality's gone down, so dyor and dont size down.
