I'm not one of these retards, but it's a fact reinforced in the lore that the 40k Imperium, for all its faults and crimes, it's supposed to be the only way for Humanity to survive. The only way to have a bit of hope and normal human lives somewhere despite all the horror and not be devoured for eternity.
Of course, the Emperor ensured that on purpose by destroying any other possible alternative, but it is what it is.

not this irrelevant and twisted bs again. Imagine looking at stuff like pic related and saying "Satire or social critic was never the intention", ffs

GW quicky became a corporation with ads showing the White dwarf shaking hands with Ronald Reagan, but the roots of 40k in stuff like 2000AD Nemesis the Warlock or Dune were more than "things that looked cool."

Partial credit. Sisters of Battle did exist in Rogue Trader and are in fact featured extensively in their own section of the Rogue Trader rulebook, and their art depicts them wearing extremely similar powered armor to Space Marines. Female Warrior Gabs and Female Warrior Jayne depict similar such characters and were a part of the Space Adventurers range of miniatures for Rogue Trader - Gabs, as pictured, even shares the same ram skull iconography on her shoulder as Sister Sin.

The full Sisters of Battle range wouldn't come out for another few years after that and when it did, would redesign the look pretty extensively to more clearly differentiate then from Space Marines, and that look would persist through their full range refresh in 2019.
