Yes, but I'd argue that the orange man defacto controls the country at this point. He could wake up one day, go on xitter, type up "Canada immigration BAD", and the crown would immediately cut a deal with Modi to import 5% of the population of jeetland while the boomers wiggle their elbows. Anti americanism has been a thing forever, but it's ridiculous how intensely self destructive it has become in recent years.
