I hate the switch, not because i hate nintendo or even the console itself (though i still do dislike it quite a bit). I hate the switch because I LOVE nintendo handhelds, thats the one thing nintendo got right 100% of the time, but with the switch they decided to combine the console and the handheld into an awkward 50/50 device that doesn't work well as either one. The switch lite is a shitty solution too (aside from the shape being derivitive from the base switch which already looks dumb and ugly) a lot of the games on the switch lite are optimized for the base switch so all the games are gonna run like shit, the exceptions being ports but at that point i may as well get a 3ds. If they released a dedicated handheld console alongside the switch back in 2017 i'd hate it much less.
