I'm new to TVs and need some advice. I want to purchase an OLED TV, but they seem a lot more expensive than QLEDs. Are they really so different as to justify the price difference? I can get a very large QLED for a fraction of the cost of a smaller OLED, what should I do?

I was thinking I could change the backlight or local dimming settings on a QLED to become more like an OLED, it won't be perfect but it'll be a pretty decent trade-off, plus I won't have to worry about any burn-ins.

OLEDs are a hard sell with the budget 1k zone HDR1000 miniled monitors coming out now
