All this hype seems unnatural. It's probably a pretty good game just like the original but I don't see any reason for it to be so popular.
Statistically speaking right now the majority of people playing Silksong have never even touched the original. It feels like people are playing and hyping it because it's popular or as some kind of protest rather than because they want to play a good game, which just makes me sad about the game. It's shallow success.
