Ideally, they finally put on their fucking big boy pants and actually kill off some characters that matter. Lucas makes a deal with Vecna to save/heal Max(Vecna fucks him over and they both die), Jonathan dies freeing Will from Vecna mind control, Hopper dies(for real this time) saving Eleven, Dustin dies during the final battle. Steve almost dies but barely makes it. Nancy wants to get back together and Steve tells her skeleton ass to hit the bricks. Roll credits.
