It's always been fun. There are very frustrating moments for me, but I think being able to create extra artwork that wasn't given to us for things (video games, books, cartoons) or drawing something as a present for a friend or family member or even pet felt like a gift unique to me. But I started as a child, and had support at that younger age rather than ridicule as an adult with the same drawing level. A tween drawing something that isn't stick figures was met with positive reinforcement, which then also nurtured the fun of it.

As and adult in my 30's, it becomes harder to please people, and the compliments I do get I take to heart (or dismiss as patronizing). The fun nowadays comes from me merely doing things I want to, whether spitefully or purely out of horny. I take fun in learning things, in nature, and anatomy, even if I'm not good at it, and looking back on how much I've improved over the years helps too.

I think I am intermediate...?
