I am living proof it didnt.
So it is not as common as you say it is.
My life from 8-21 was a living hell as a direct result from a lack of acceptance. Like you could draw a straight line from that shit and its honestly comical with just how bad shit was.
I wish that my schools did feature pride as one of their holidays celebrated because then it would have been an oasis in a world that hated me and wanted me to die, and still does. Any relief whatsoever would have helped.
So I wish it happened more.

Govt deploying national guard into the capital for... reasons and people just clap like seals at it. Why are people so fucking vindictive against literally everything except the people who cause their plight? How in the actual fuck do people see literal tanks on the streets of the capital with the military parade and now the deployment of literal security forces and think 'yes this is true freedom, this is a good thing'
