There are absolutely players in this game who simply are new. This is a really weird and almost alien concept to me but I have legit come across people who have blatantly friended me after a horrible loss (I'm expecting an argument) and they've straight up apologized saying they didn't know what the champ did they were up against. This is in Gold/Plat range for context.

If you haven't played this game since 2013 you probably don't know that K'Sante is tank Yasuo with a fucking mini Skarner mechanic and All-Out ultimate, or that Ambessa can have 4 dashes at once. I actually don't get mad at these people since they don't know what they don't know, the problem is that everyone expects everyone else to know what every champ does (I know what every champ does, so I suffer from this) but there's legit people who don't know Neeko's kit etc.

The argument I guess is, should you be playing ranked if you don't have this knowledge?
