As drifter you really want to capitalise on fights rather than force them. See a teammate 1v1ing? Free stack? Teams having a pissing contest? Look for the one schmuck that isn't there and rape him. Play clean up and focus squishies. You get owned by ganks so hard as Drifter you'll just waste time and feed chasing every lone guy you see. Frankly I think Drifter isn't a reverse snowball hero as items do really allow him to USE that damage amp. Also Drifter can get a lot of souls by killing farmers and stealing their bags
