2 is a real mess, a soulless, heartless, mean-spirited flick which mistakes the first movie's satire for raw cynicism. It has one or two good scenes though.

3 is underrated. People trash it because it tones down the violence in an obvious bid to sell toys and comics, but the satire, gags, and commentary on ruthless corporate culture is more in line with the first film.

The remake is shit apart from the unintentionally hilarious HOLY CRAP THERE'S NOTHING LEFT scene.
