>Schopenhauer and Fahrenheit were Poles
They were Polish Germans, and they were LITERALLY Poles in the same sense as when an ethnic German born in Texas today is an "American".
P.S. Germans living in Gdańsk in the 1700s, during the partitions of Poland, literally fought against Prussia because most of them were still loyal to the Polish Crown and wanted to remain part of Poland.
>its fucking absurd to claim Danzig in 1939
Yeah, in 1939 Gdańsk has been already heavily Germanized after the partitions and a century of anti-Polish kulturkampf, being like 90% German speaking. But hey, when Berlin becomes majority Turkish speaking in few years, and they will democratically vote for an autonomous Turkish Republic of Germanistan, remember my words and just accept what it is, NO HUBRIS!
