"Ryuko Matoi's hot" is all you need to know to draw the right conclusions on what the hullabaloo is about.

Also: They're adults, 18-23. I find it much hotter for them to be in university than high school, simply because (to me), it seems far more humiliating and indignant. You expect wedgies and swirlies and all that in high school, but university? How dorky do you have to be to still be getting them then.

No shade to high school settings/OCs, though. I understand both why someone would find that hot (you have to - no pun intended - stretch the structure of a uni to have the normal "nerd" and "jock" stereotypes) and why they'd prefer it ("why don't they just move to a different school?" is a much harder question to answer at uni-level).

I could go on about my thought process here, but I'm well aware the number of people who care for my rambling is in the single digits lol.
