I'm not American. Hyundai EVs are more expensive than teslers where I live for some reason (Tesla can bring in cars directly without going through a dealership, unlike every single other carmaker, which makes teslers relatively cheaper). We also have a general shortage of Ioniqs so they have an inflated price even in the used market.
I should also mention that enol is offering a limited deal of 0% interest full loan on teslers (payments will slightly increase though when our CPI increases). This mean I could buy a brand new model 3 for 10k + $733 x 72 payments, which will probably be $770 x 72 on average in the worst case. This one is REALLY tempting.

I'm just commuting twice a week to the office, 120km x 4 = 480km a week. That includes the occasional stop at the grocery store or the odd shop, I always do those in the commute days.
