akshually it's medieval, not fantasy.
but yes, it's fun. I think the main story is pretty interesting, and even if you don't go for that, there's plenty of side quests to do, stats to work on, and things to get distracted by.
even if you ignore the main quest, you could get pretty lost in the world and live a good life as a peasant or something
