I concede rent control sucks. What's the solution to bringing rent back down to a reasonable amount? It really should be no more than a fifth of minimum wage full time to have a studio, anywhere. Building more housing doesn't fucking work because it constantly ends up being luxury or elderly or requiring arcane government programs to access.
