Alright, so here's the first pic that friend drew for me. I mentioned beanbags for the home, but for formal settings, like the parliament, I came up with the idea of padded podiums large enough for big quadrupedal Pokemon to get comfortable on, with an adjustable desk that bipeds can sit at in the normal way. Probably the podium would have to be a bit higher off the ground than he drew it, but that's why the ramp is there in any case - to let small Pokemon up.

This particular Yanmega politician is buzzing angrily about not having been informed of a critical development and instead first hearing about it in the news. He's wearing a suit and tie because it's funny, but by and large clothing would work the same way as in Friendship is Magic - considered as an optional luxury in most settings and at best recommended rather than mandated in formal settings.

I have a couple more pictures to post, but other small bits of world-building I came up with include:

- Chimecho like to hang from flagpoles and banners in the city, particularly "welcome to the city" signs, where they'd double as greeters.

- Actually stole this one from Tumblr (I know, I know) - dangerous workplaces often have an Absol in charge of safety. OH&S or compliance is a common vocation for them, as across the city their danger sense is saving lives every single day. I know technically it's supposed to be natural disasters, but OH&S Absol was too much fun not to include, so I decided it was okay to fudge a little.

- The one good idea that webcomic I mentioned had was that Psychic and Dark types would form the two strongest factions in politics. The former are highly intelligent and naturally manipulative, while the latter are the hard counter to that. There is tension on both sides, however, as Dark types are also a frequent sight in the city's underworld, while Psychics dominate white collar crime. Malamar are basically natural super villains and most heartily embrace that fact.
