Yeah I agree with this. It was funny because it was so out of pocket but if Alan is just gay as part of his character then it makes it less funny. Like a male character looking at the screen and saying "boobs are beautiful" as a joke, that's just a statement, it has no humor, obviously that character would think that. If Alan is gay then obviously he will think a penis is delicious?
