I've never read the manga but a thing I hated about the anime is that it turned Seiya into a dude. I always felt when I was a kid the gender-shapeshifting stuff didn't make sense and it would be easier if he was just a girl fulltime. Which sucks because I feel like they used "him" as just another reason Haruka was supposedly better than men or something. Though I'm not exaclty sure how Seiya flirting with a girl he didn't know was in a relationship is worse than Haruka secretly being into being cucked.
