i have the DDR4 version of that board and it's... fine
good at memory OC but it doesn't have basic features like BIOS flashback because ASUS loves product segmentation

you could fix that but it's up to you, these CPUs don't run well out of the box
i don't know if intel did anything to 12th gen with the new microcode but it shouldn't be allowed to go to 300W with the latest BIOS
